Hotel Serena

The food is a real highlight. Chef Claudio, Domenico, and the whole team serve a different selection each day, with fish dishes and pasta especially standing out. I work in the field, so I can say the cooking is top-notch. The waiters are cheerful and always ready to help, and reception is happy to handle any request. We come back every year and always have a lovely holiday. Top!

The buffet was plentiful and the dishes were tasty, though some desserts and fruit trays weren't replenished after they ran out. Thomas was kind and friendly, and the dining staff kept clearing the tables. My main suggestion is more variety: the appetizers and side dishes kept using the same ingredients throughout the week, and eating the same things day after day got monotonous and tiring. That's just feedback for improvement, not a complaint about the quality. We stayed all-inclusive at Hotel Serena in the last week of August 2025 and had a great time. The room was spacious and very clean, the staff were friendly, and Mrs. Lucia gave us a warm welcome and all the information we needed. The hotel is close to the beach, and the weekly activities included a Romagna evening, an aperitif, and a dance night. We also enjoyed a couple of peaceful hours in the spa, with its hot tub, Turkish bath, and sauna. Good value for money. I recommend Hotel Serena to families with children, and Gatteo Mare has so much to offer. It's always top-notch and always in my heart.

The room was very clean and the location was excellent. We had a top-notch five-day holiday, but the bathroom needs work. In room 119, you had to lean sideways to sit on the toilet.

The place is a little dated, but it has what you need to feel comfortable. We stayed for 10 days and had a great time. The rooms were spotless, the location was ideal for the sea, and the evening entertainment was good. Alessio and Davide are young, but they know what they're doing. The food was excellent, and the whole team made the stay work so well. A special thanks to Sabrina, Luca, and Giovanna in the dining room for really understanding the Family Hotel philosophy. My daughter Sofia sends Sabrina lots of kisses.
