The garden was lovely for relaxing, and the apartment was spotless and very well equipped, including a dishwasher. We had a fantastic vacation there. We were welcomed warmly, check-in was easy, and communication over WhatsApp worked perfectly. Everything was perfect.

Really nice and clean, in a top location, and the price was great.

The accommodation itself is lovely and well maintained, with nothing to complain about there. The problem was the surroundings, which were very disappointing, so I can only give two stars. In the town center, loud nightclub-style music goes on late into the night. It's completely out of place in a lakeside town where people come expecting peace and quiet, and you can hear it from all the accommodation. Keeping the windows open makes it hard to sleep. That sort of music and volume belong in an enclosed nightclub. Germignaga seems to have lost much of its appeal over the past decade. I was here last year, when after a severe storm, presumably in July 2025, metal plates were put down along the road by the church in the town center. A year later, they're still there. The public works are taking an absurdly long time. The place also feels like one big construction site, with roadworks and barriers blocking access to the nearby public park. The barriers have been there for over two years. The park is full of dog feces, and dogs often run around off leash, which isn't ideal for children or people who are afraid of dogs. We hope Germignaga improves and becomes peaceful again. Otherwise, if you're looking for quiet and relaxation as we were, I'd suggest choosing somewhere calmer.
