The housekeeper was pleasant and very efficient, and the rooms were perfectly clean. The food was what you’d expect from a 2 star hotel. The staff came across as sullen and unfriendly. I’d avoid running a bar tab and pay as you go, since there’s no way to prove what you did or didn’t order.

Dear guests and anyone thinking of staying at this lovely, cozy hostel, I want you to know that one of the owners, the infamous “Natasha,” exploits her employees in the most degrading ways. I’d heard that people kept quitting and that I’d be working for an owner known for being fake, rude, and arrogant. What happened to me was much worse. On the day I arrived, I discovered that the accommodation offered to me as an employee was a basement hole with no ventilation. TOTAL SLAVERY. They have a Moroccan person living in those conditions because of their need, even though the hotel looks great from the outside. It was a two-by-two-meter space with only a mattress, no table to eat at, and nowhere to cook. When I asked where I was supposed to eat on my day off or outside work hours, she gave me her fakest smile and said, “I don’t know; that’s not my problem.” Thank you, Natasha, for such a horrible experience. I’m sure life comes around, and if this is how you treat the people who work with you, your life must be very sad. Regards 🙏😊❤️

The food was a good choice of traditional Italian alpine dinners, with plenty of fresh pasta options each day. There’s also a hot tub, perfect after skiing. The only downside was that after dinner there wasn’t a bar or lounge to relax in and have a few drinks once the restaurant closed around 10 or 10.30, though that may be expected at a family resort. We stayed here in Jan 22. It’s a quiet place with wonderful views of nearby mountain ranges, including Mont Blanc and Matterhorn. The walk to the closest ski lift is 10-15 minutes. If you rent your equipment from the family’s ski shop, you can leave it in the boot room on your last day and they’ll take care of the rest. It’s family run, and the staff were superb, especially Georgia and Romero, who took time to chat with guests and always served with a smile. The Bomardino’s are lovely.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and lovely, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. We also had wonderful views of monte Rosa and Monte Bianco. The local family who run the place were so kind and thoughtful. I came across this hotel by chance, then the rating and positive booking reviews caught my eye. They were right, the place really is wonderful. I truly recommend it.
