Our room was on the second floor, and there’s no elevator, though parking is nearby. The place is in the center of Grosseto, in an apartment with several rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shared lounge had a fridge, coffee machine, cold water, and dining tables. The person who gave us the keys was kind and right on time.

It was a bit of a struggle to get our suitcases up to the second floor since there’s no elevator. The staff were helpful, though, and let us check out at 11:00 AM instead of the planned 10:00 AM. The location is very central. Having a refrigerator, coffee maker, and kettle in the room was really useful.

The building is inside Grosseto’s historic center, within the Medici Walls. Parking is the main issue since you have to leave the car outside the walls, and there’s no elevator. Still, I was satisfied. The place felt clean and welcoming, and it has hot and cold air conditioning.

The apartments feel pretty bare. We reported problems, as did other guests, but nothing was ever done. The owners were nowhere to be found. I left a longer review on booking.com.

The rooms are comfortable and really pleasant, and the hospitality was excellent. You're only a few steps from Grosseto's historic center.
