We only stayed one night, but there was a lot to appreciate: the room was extremely clean, and our hosts were helpful. The ground-floor room opened onto a garden with loungers. Breakfast was generous and excellent, with homemade cakes, savory toast, yogurt, and a choice of coffee or cappuccino. It's served rather than set out as a buffet. Downstairs there's a lobby with a large-screen TV and sofas inside and out, plus a bar for aperitifs. The hotel also has a fenced courtyard for parking, and the prices are affordable, including a sheet change and daily room cleaning. The friendly managers made us feel welcome. In central Rispescia, it's across from the sports field where the wild boar festival takes place throughout July, Friday to Sunday. You can eat nearby during the festival, with typical Maremma dishes at great prices. Boncitto restaurant is also across from the hotel and serves excellent pizza and Maremma specialties. The location is handy for visiting Uccellina Park and Marina di Alberese.

Rooms are simple and a bit dated, though cleaning was good. It's a small hotel with excellent service and a strategic base for visiting Uccellina Park.
