The outdoor seating and atmosphere were really nice, and the prices are affordable. It’s a great bar with good food. Pasquale’s mother Anna is a wonderful cook and a clear, easy conversationalist who knows the history and stories of Guardia’s agricultural past. The expats are a nice bonus too!

Great food, and this is where locals and expats get together. It’s the sort of place to stay, eat, and spend time. Pasquale is one of the best people around, and someone to know if you need a ride, a place to stay, or anything else.

It’s been a few years since I visited, but I still remember how much I loved this place. The family running the bar cafe were wonderful, lovely people, and I hope they’re doing well. I had a delicious beef sandwich, and the roast chicken was moist and full of flavor. My drink was blossoming! Visitors from abroad could get ice and use the wifi. I also remember a small gambling and arcade area. Please support them!

Pasquale’s rotisserie chicken takeaway was delicious, and he went out of his way to make our time in Guardia and the rest of Campania memorable. He also runs a taxi service. We used it from Sorrento to Naples, stopping at Pompeii along the way. He arranged our Pompeii tour and a lovely seafood lunch before taking us to our Naples accommodation. During our stay, Anna and her husband made us feel like family and couldn’t do enough for us. Sorry, I can’t remember her husband’s name. It felt like coming home. Next time I’ll use this as my base and have Pasquale organize our day trips. Thanks for a very memorable stay in Guardia Sanframondi.

Lunch was amazing, and Pasquale was so kind. I could honestly eat there every day. It was a great way to begin our visit to Guardia Sanframondi.
