Agriturismo La Contessa Quarter Horse

We spent a weekend here and found it enchanting, surrounded by nature, with spotless rooms and very kind owners. Breakfast was delicious, made with natural products they prepare themselves. I only wish we'd had dinner there too. I was planning to spend longer in Gubbio, and other guests confirmed they use certified organic products. We'll definitely return.

We had a lovely pool to cool off in after sightseeing, and they really made an effort to have it ready for us. The food was another highlight, made with fresh ingredients and truly delicious local specialties. We stayed four days, three adults and one Labrador. The rooms are quite small, but as we booked only a few days before leaving, we made do with what was available. Giulia, Alessio, and Ilaria were always helpful and available to answer our questions.

We had a lovely weekend in the Gubbio area, and this was a great base for it. The place is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, though I imagine the landscape is much lusher in summer. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and easy to talk to. My kids had a blast with the dogs and cats, and there are horses too. Our room was small, but clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. The food was delicious, with local ingredients and homemade flavors. Highly recommended.

The pool, shower, and shady spots to relax were a real treat, and the horse farm, lovingly looked after by one of the owners, was a lovely, calming sight. I can't remember her name. We spent a week unwinding in the hills near Todi, surrounded by greenery. Giulia, Ilaria, and Alessio, along with the dining and room staff, were all warm and helpful. Breakfast was a generous Italian spread with natural, organic products. Dinner changed each evening, and the menus were consistently well made and excellent. We had a great time, actually, a VERY GREAT time!!
