Set in nature near Saint Ubaldo's sanctuary, this is a lovely place for mountain hiking and biking. Gubbio is about a 5 minute drive away. The staff are friendly, and I'd highly recommend it.

We had a lovely mini family break, even though we were there for just one night. The owner was so kind and helpful, and everything felt warm and welcoming, with care put into the little details. On Christmas Eve we could see the star lit up on the tree about 40 meters above the hotel. What a spectacular sight. Highly recommended!

If you want a quiet stay, this traditional hotel is tucked away in a peaceful spot, with lovely views over Gubbio. The atmosphere is full of character. You can get meals at the restaurant next to the hotel.

On December 15, 2024, with it at 40°F (4°C), we dozed off in the afternoon and woke up freezing. The boiler for the whole second floor had broken. The owner said she'd try to call someone, but also said it wasn't her fault and she couldn't work miracles. She was incredibly rude, and it was a terrible experience. When I paid, I asked for a discount because of the inconvenience, and he called me inappropriate. Apparently the customer is right only when they agree with me.

Rooms are clean and warm in winter, and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel is right across from the Church of Sant'Ubaldo, with a breathtaking view, especially from a room overlooking Gubbio. It's also easy to get to the center by cable car, whose stop is 100 meters away.
