The staff are super friendly, and the terrace has a lovely view over Borgo Imperia. The rooms look much better than the pictures suggest, though they still have a 90s feel and could do with updating.

The staff were the highlight, always pleasant and smiling. We had a short stay and were a little disappointed, especially for a hotel advertised as four stars. There were three of us in an attic room with only skylights, so we missed out on a view. The furnishings looked dated, and the toilet seat was loose, though they replaced it as soon as we mentioned it. Breakfast was quite decent, but it was served indoors in a room with windows that could use a clean. They have a shaded outdoor terrace, which would have been nice to use, but breakfast was only offered inside. Maybe that was because there was just one staff member serving in the dining room. You can walk to the port centre from the hotel.
