We went just for the spa and had a good time on a rainy day. The massage and facial were both really good, and the pricing was good too. There’s one large indoor hot thermal pool with loungers. The sauna was closed “due to covid,” which didn’t make sense to me since massage services were available, and they hadn’t told us beforehand. The spa feels dated and could use some fixing, so that’s why I took off a star. The pool’s “hydromassage” isn’t worth it, though they usually include tokens for it in the package.

Three nights of full board, with plenty of time to unwind by the pool and solarium, and I’m already looking forward to coming back next year. I stayed at Hotel Felix Terme last year too, and this visit surpassed my expectations. The cheerful, peaceful atmosphere makes you feel at ease from the start. The restaurant is a highlight: the Chef serves creative, varied food rooted in local cooking, and the dishes never feel repetitive. The waiters were patient and helpful, always there without hovering. Maître d' Stanislao was professional and welcoming, making us feel special from his first smile. The bartender was skilled and precise, with a classy selection of quality cocktails, just right to begin or end the evening. Felix Terme is the kind of place you’re glad to return to. The food was excellent, the staff friendly and knowledgeable, and the central location made getting around easy. It was good value too. The property is a little dated, though reasonably clean, and the restaurant tables are packed close together, like a cafeteria. For a four-star hotel, I don’t think you should have to pay for the pool’s whirlpool and waterfall, and bathrobes are usually provided in the room at no extra charge.
