We stayed four nights at Villa Porto. Our first room was tiny and not clean, and nobody was there when we arrived. After some calls and WhatsApp messages, the owner came and moved us to a much larger first-floor room with a balcony. The owner was friendly and seemed keen to make us happy. The location is very close to the port, with restaurants, bus stops, shopping streets and other things nearby, though it can get noisy at times. We had to ask for clean towels because the ones in the room still had visible dark spots, even though they'd been washed. Breakfast was very limited, just some croissants, sweets, and industrial products.

Breakfast in the garden was a relaxing start to the day. The rooms are very clean, the bathroom is good, and the location is as good as you could hope for. It's a two-minute walk from the port and five minutes to the bus stop for island routes. In Ischia, things stay open late and buses run until 00:30. We enjoyed our stay.

Anna is genuinely kind. When we arrived, she offered coffee and shared tips on beaches and other things to see. The place and rooms were kept spotless by her and her assistant. Our room had a little porch at the front and was spacious, with all the comforts we needed. Breakfast was simple but very good. The location is just steps from the ferries, the bus terminal for routes all over the island, and the main street. It's a lovely place at a very affordable price, with welcoming staff. I stayed with my boyfriend a few weeks ago, and we'd definitely come back.
