We, me, my pregnant wife and our kid, enjoyed our holiday so much. The rooms were cleaned and the bed sheets changed every day. The reception girls were really helpful and gave us insider tips about restaurants. They were right about which ones were good. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever seen at a hotel. There’s a kitchen in the room if you’d rather cook, places to park, and the hotel has a pool where they even serve drinks. It’s a short walk to the beach, where the hotel has umbrellas with little tables and seats for guests. In my opinion, this is the best hotel in Jesolo. Someone jumped over the wall during our stay and turned off the air conditioning for the whole hotel. Once the staff figured out what had happened, they put up a fence around the building where the air conditioning unit is. We had no air conditioning the first night, but the staff were helpful and brought us two fans, which we could keep for the rest of the stay. Thank you!

We left the next morning and found a much better hotel, a real four-star place, maybe even more, for exactly the same amount. I’d tell anyone interested to look for somewhere newer in Lido di Jesolo. The staff were nice and clearly did their best, but there’s only so much you can do with an old property. The breakfast room was oddly shaped and cramped to move around in, and the elevator was so slow that taking the stairs was quicker in either direction. The apartment smelled terrible when we walked in, possibly because the walls had patches covering what looked like mold. The furniture was old and worn. The bathroom seemed straight out of the 1970s, with rust and patches of silicone and grout. We didn’t want to use the shower or get undressed in there. The double bed was two separate beds pushed together that moved around independently. The headboard looked so unpleasant we didn’t want to touch it. The extendable sofa bed in the living room was made of similar material and looked even more worn, with dodgy bits sticking out at the corners. We really didn’t want our kids sleeping on it. The TV was a tiny 15-inch LCD from a brand I’d never heard of, set up so you could only watch it from the kitchen table or balcony, and even then its size would have made it hard. We didn’t turn it on, so can’t say if it worked. Considering everything else, we figured it probably didn’t. The door knob nearly came off in my hand. It was a ball handle you were meant to grab and push after unlocking the door with the key and its heavy room number. Someone must have tried twisting it to open the door, pulling it nearly off its screws.

The pool was a bit cold, but the room was nice and spacious, with air conditioning in both rooms. It’s really close to the beach too.
