Hotel Nizza

The restaurant served tasty dinners in a dining room overlooking the sea. Our room was cosy and clean, and the hotel is in a great location with a sea view. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff were friendly. Parking and a beach umbrella are included. Highly recommended!

The hotel and room were clean and spacious, with a big terrace. The location is perfect and there’s free parking. I booked directly on the website, expecting the triple deluxe sea side view room I’d seen listed there. From my experience, 99.9% of the time “sea view” means a front view. Here, the sea side view rooms only look partly toward the sea, though the hotel still calls that a sea view. I later saw that on booking the rooms are properly described as front sea view and sea side view. It was my mistake to book through the hotel website, but staff were rude and ignored what I’d paid for and asked for. I’d advise checking the view and all the details with the hotel first. Breakfast was the worst, with very little to choose from: small, maybe baby-size sausages, a few croissants and very little fruit. There might be one watermelon for an hour. The service and communication with guests were very impolite.

The hospitality was what I loved most. Our renovated top-floor room was comfortable, even with four people, though the sea view may only be partial. If you want vegetables or gluten-free bread at breakfast, ask for them. They have plenty of those options.

The restaurant menu was smart, with frutta di mare always on offer as well as more traditional Italian meals. The kids usually want fries, but they ate real meals here. The waiters and bartenders were professional and so friendly. Thanks for keeping the Aperol coming all week! We were spending a family holiday with my brother-in-law, four kids and four adults. Parking right at the hotel was limited, but there was a larger shaded parking garage for our microbus 300 m away. The rooms were fine and clean, and the room maid was lovely. We had an excellent sea view, and sunbeds and umbrellas at the beach were assigned to our room. Hotel management were kind and guest-focused, and directly involved at reception and in the restaurant. Superior service, keep going! Thank you.
