The location is ideal, right by the sea and in Jesolo’s pedestrian zone, which is why I’m giving it 2 stars. At these prices, though, the hotel is hard to put up with for long. The whole service depends on an agency 3 kilometers away that isn’t open 24/7. The owner only speaks Italian and can’t help with anything. Be careful driving into the underground garage: stones stick out and can scratch your car’s undercarriage. It happened to me. The furnishings look like they’re from the 60s at the latest. The refrigerator wobbles, the shower only works if you unscrew the shower head, and the bathroom door sometimes jams and won’t unlock. A friend was stuck inside for 40 minutes. The lifeguard tells you not to dry towels on the balconies. And even if you’ve booked an apartment for four, you’ll get told off for using more than two pool loungers. 🤡

The balcony view over the pool and sea is beautiful, and the apartment is in a perfect spot by the water, right in the middle of everything. It has pretty much what you need, though some things are in rough shape. The old, worn balcony table had sticky plastic on it, so we bought a tablecloth. The spaces felt cramped. Two people could barely fit in the bathroom, and you had to squeeze past each other in the hallway. Those are small complaints, really. The caretaker, or whoever he was, was the real problem. He seemed to be finding fault with us all the time, and we felt like a nuisance. On our first day, the pool was meant to open at 10:00, but at 10:30 there was still barrier tape at the entrance. We didn’t know the lifeguard was supposed to open it, so we moved the tape and went in. The caretaker rushed over and loudly scolded us, saying HE opens the pool, not us. We hadn’t realized we’d done anything wrong. We later learned the lifeguard comes during opening hours, but he must have overslept that day, which we couldn’t have known. There were other little run-ins. We left our underwater board beside the pool so we could swim there before heading to the sea, and he came over to say it wasn’t allowed and had to be moved. Another time my husband stepped over a rail in the garden, and the caretaker immediately nagged us to stay on the paths. We didn’t understand why we couldn’t walk on the grass. At one point, it felt as if he was watching us. We didn’t feel comfortable, so I can’t recommend this apartment.

We had a lovely stay in the second half of September 2024, renting a two-room apartment at Bagni Miramare through an agency. There were only a few of us, and the caretaker couple were lovely and very professional. The building is kept in great shape, and people follow the rules so everyone can enjoy some peace and quiet.

We had a relaxing, enjoyable holiday, and the place is still well attended. This was one of the first large hotels in Lido di Jesolo to become a residence. Back in the 1930s it was called Grande Albergo Bagni Miramare, an icon of sun therapy holidays when wealthy European upper-middle-class families came to stay by the beach. I’ve read some of the reviews, and I’d like to say the caretaker and lifeguard were polite and professional, doing their jobs with dedication and respect for the guests. Keeping things decent and respecting the rules helps make a shared holiday enjoyable and memorable for everyone.

The residence itself is lovely, and its facilities are well kept, but the staff let the place down with their rude, disrespectful manner. The pool was empty and every lounger was free, yet the manager spoke to us arrogantly and said we could take only two, not three. We’d taken an extra one just to play cards, so his attitude really annoyed us. He then came back and rudely told us that no more than three people could be in the pool at once. They should improve the way they treat people. Staff like this aren’t suited to the facility.
