Cinque Terre Gateway

The location made visiting La Spezia and the Cinque Terre easy, with a Carrefour just around the corner and bus and tram stops outside. The hotel is just beyond the ZTL and has on-site parking, so arriving by car was stress-free. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite, which was immaculate and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and excellent soundproofing that let us sleep well. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained, with a boutique feel and lots of attention to detail. Staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help, especially Michele, who was genuinely lovely. Breakfast was a highlight too, with plenty of fresh options, nicely presented and regularly replenished. Great service and comfort for the price. We’d absolutely come back and recommend it.

There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and stores nearby, and the area felt safe. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, with attentive staff keeping everything topped up and helping guests get what they needed. There was enough flexibility for either a leisurely meal or a quick bite before heading out. Our modern, comfortable room looked newly refurbished and was even nicer than the photos, with a clean, high-standard finish. The staff were a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. The location was perfect. We’d stay again.

His warmth and professionalism made a real difference, and the staff as a whole were kind, attentive, and ready with restaurant suggestions and tips for visiting the Cinque Terre villages. The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with thoughtful details throughout. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The location made a great base for exploring all five villages, just steps from the train station and within easy walking distance of the town center, shops, and restaurants. We can’t wait to return to Cinque Terre Gateway.

What really sets Cinque Terre Gateway apart is its caring, professional, helpful staff. Each person we dealt with showed real interest, and after starting to lose faith in service, this place restored it. We loved our unexpected time here. The location is ideal, a few blocks from the train station and just off the busy nightlife and restaurant area. Our room was very clean, with huge comfortable beds, effective air conditioning, invigorating showers, and an eco-friendly hotel. Breakfast was another highlight, with lots to choose from, including fresh fruit, pastries, eggs made to order, and great coffee. It was beautifully presented and kept replenished.
