We really appreciated how quiet it was, since the property is a little outside town. It's up above La Spezia and easy to reach by car, though a few roads are narrow. From the balcony, you can take in a lovely view of the town below and the bay. It's also a good base for visiting Cinque Terre. The apartment was beautifully furnished. Our landlady welcomed us warmly, and we managed communication between Italian and German mostly with a phone translator. On our first evening, Ana suggested a nearby restaurant within walking distance and even booked a table for us. It was a great recommendation.

We were especially struck by how welcoming Mrs. Ana and her brother Pietro were. They were available whenever we had a question and made us feel at home. The apartment was remarkably clean and tidy, tastefully decorated, and appeared newly built or renovated. It sits high in the hills above La Spezia's port, about ten minutes from the city center. There are excellent restaurants just steps away. The apartment has a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, a lookout point, and a tower terrace, with a sofa bed in the living room for extra guests. The kitchen and bathroom are spacious and fully equipped, and the view over the port is wonderful. It was incredibly peaceful. We'll definitely return. Gabriela and Boris
