The walks nearby are stunning, and there’s a bus stop right outside if you want to go further afield. I came for a week of walking and this hotel far exceeded what I expected. My newly renovated room was beautiful, with an incredible view of the church and mountains. The chef was the standout. He’s clearly talented, and the dinners, sometimes five courses, were incredible, with interesting menus that changed things up. He belongs in a five-star restaurant, but I hope he stays so I can return. I’ll miss that food every day when I’m home!

The rooms were comfortable and had a great bathroom, and the balcony came with the best view. Staff were kind, the local cuisine was amazing, and the price for what you get is excellent.

We spent a week here cycling and had a wonderful time. The rooms are spacious and nice, with no air conditioning, so they can get warm in summer. It cools down at night, though, and leaving the windows open kept things comfortable. Breakfast was great and dinner was nice. The last climb back to the hotel by bike is challenging. Watch out for traffic on the main roads, which get very busy, and drivers may get angry behind cyclists.

I came for an MTB holiday and loved my stay. The tour guides were great, friendly and knowledgeable, and the accommodation has a friendly feel. Markus, the chief, is lovely, and the evening meals had an amazing range of fantastic food. I’ll be back!

We had to wait a little while to be served coffee and ice cream, but I’d still recommend the place. We didn’t have a room, so I can’t say what the rooms are like. It’s in the beautiful village of La Valle, called “La Valle” in Italian, “La Val” in Ladin, the main language in the area, and “Wengen” in German.
