The family welcomed us like close relatives, and we just got back from a wonderful holiday! The food was delicious and varied every night, from the dry first course to their tasty South Tyrolean soups. Our room was spotless, and the pool was lovely too. We'll definitely come back, thanks 😘

The meals were a highlight, with a huge breakfast buffet, then a generous salad buffet each evening followed by a varied, appetizing menu. There was almost too much food, but it was so good we didn't want to leave a bite. We felt completely at ease and will definitely return. We spent a wonderful week at the Martins' hotel in Morter as a family of five, staying in two well-kept rooms. The maid came every day, which we're used to getting only every other day. The hotel is peaceful but well connected, with a bus stop in the village and Goldrain station about a 20-minute walk away. The hosts gave us the South Tyrol Guest Pass, so the car could take a holiday too. Even the trip to Bolzano worked out, and the long journey was exciting for the children. Since 2025 there's been a pool in the lovely hotel garden. It's not meant for wild splashing and jumping, which was fine by us, and we all enjoyed it. The setting is great for hikes and excursions while still being quiet around the hotel. The Martin family were attentive, friendly, and focused on their guests. We felt at home as soon as we arrived.

It's a small, lovely hotel, run with real heart. Hospitality is clearly part of life here, and from the moment you arrive, you're treated like family. I'm already looking forward to seeing you again in September.

The food was absolutely delicious, and all the staff, owners included, were incredibly friendly and attentive to what guests needed. Fantastic hotel. We'd love to come back.
