Plonerhof

The place has a lovely feel, with the house dating back to the 13th century. The surrounding area is fantastic, and the host family were lovely. Their holiday apartment has everything you need. Highly recommended!

We chose the property because it was close to the Forst brewery, where we were going to a concert. My husband and I were welcomed so warmly, and the hospitality was exquisite. The house keeps its historic character while being adapted for modern tourists. Breakfast was excellent.

I had booked an apartment through a major booking site, then cancelled an earlier reservation as soon as the confirmation came through. The owner called the next morning and said his mother had already booked that apartment for someone else, but the website had not been updated, so I needed to cancel. Everyone makes mistakes; what matters to me is how they try to sort them out. Since the mix-up was theirs, I expected them to make a real effort to find a solution. Instead, I was just pushed to cancel, with the risk of a penalty. I'm speechless at the lack of professionalism and the apparent lack of interest in resolving this. Very poor professionalism and customer service.

The bus stop is right outside, and all the services are very close by. Breakfast was good, with quality food and moka coffee that felt like the old days. The building is a little dated, but has lots of potential. Great location, and I'll be back!
