DolceVita Hotel Alpiana Resort

The spa was too crowded on Sunday, with more people than seats, which took away from the relaxing atmosphere. My bathroom also had no window and felt a bit dark and stuffy, and the heated outdoor pool wasn’t warm enough for a comfortable swim in the cool mountain air. Limiting spa guest numbers, adding bathroom windows, and raising the pool temperature would improve things. There’s a lot to enjoy at Alpiana Resort: beautiful mountain scenery, spacious comfortable rooms, and a bed positioned in front of a balcony with an amazing view. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the massage was divine, and the food was excellent, with fresh ingredients and lovely presentation. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it, keeping those few drawbacks in mind. I’d consider coming back.

The service was wonderful, and we appreciated being able to use the spa on our check-out day, especially since we arrived too late to enjoy it when we checked in. We got great suggestions for scenic rides during the day. The hotel was a perfect fit for our romantic, relaxing weekend: there’s a tennis court, a lovely garden across the vineyard-covered grounds, and a large, varied spa with warm outdoor pools, saunas, and places to unwind. The mountain-view sauna on top of the building was outstanding. I loved doing yoga and meditation on our spacious balcony in the morning, and breakfast was varied and delicious. I’d recommend it if you want to relax in nature with good facilities and service.

The room was spacious and bright, and the balcony looked out over the valley. The staff were helpful and remembered little things, like my cappuccino with oat milk. They also have good vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free choices. I found the spa peaceful and enjoyed the massage. There’s both a heated and an unheated pool, plus a beautiful garden with sunbeds, day beds, and private day beds. We used the hotel-hopping option to spend a day at Jagdhof and try its spa, which was really cool. I had a great weekend and can highly recommend staying with Dolce Vita Hotels.

A fantastic spot high up near the top of the hill, with an incredibly friendly team and amazing food. There’s plenty to do for kids and adults, including indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, and two saunas with mountain views. You won’t get bored here. A must-stay.
