Quiet at night, though the connecting road gets traffic during the day. The apartments are nice and make a handy base for bike trips, drives, or hikes. It's farm accommodation among the apples, and the hosts are attentive. Tribusplatz is nearby, with good bus links, including to Merano, 8km away. Recommended overall.

The landlady even came to collect us at the train station since we were traveling by public transport. The family was lovely and answered all our questions. The apartments are modern and beautifully furnished, and I especially liked the huge balcony. They grow apples in the big garden, and I ate plenty during our holiday. Fresh ones really do taste best. There's a playground for children, though the pool excited me more. The setting is quiet and pleasant, surrounded by apple trees. A supermarket and bakery are only a short trip from the apartment. We rented bikes and could reach the train station in about 15 minutes. From there, Bolzano and Merano are easy to get to. The trains aren't always reliable, but tickets are cheaper.
