Franziska’s warm, attentive hospitality made the stay feel unforgettable. The hotel is right in the center of Lana, which was a perfect location for us. We had a wonderful time and would love to return.

A brand new, spacious apartment with everything needed for a weekend or a longer visit. It was very clean, and even the bathroom is huge. The hospitality was always available when needed, but still discreet. Its location in Lana is handy for exploring the surrounding area, and the town just outside Merano is truly charming. I highly recommend it!

The family-run team is friendly and helpful, and you can tell they care about guests’ well-being. Villa am Gries makes a comfortable base for exploring Lana, sightseeing, hiking or cycling, with restaurants and delicatessens nearby for plenty of good food. The apartments are affordable and set in lovely countryside. Inside, the rustic style, roomy spaces and modern furnishings make it easy to settle in, while the fully equipped kitchen is useful for self-catering. Getting there by car is easy, and there’s ample guest parking. Cyclists can also use the covered bicycle garage free of charge. Top apartments, top service!

We’d definitely book this vacation apartment again if we need a place in Lana. It was clean and well maintained, check-in was easy, and the hostess was pleasant. Dogs are welcome, too. There’s a Spar supermarket within walking distance with everything you need, along with a pharmacy and an ice cream parlor. There are also cute little shops to browse. A heartfelt thank you!

It’s right on a main road. With the window open, you’d think the vehicles were driving through the room.
