Camping Belvedere

Bungalow no. 137 had an amazing lake view and was close to both the beach and the pool, where there was a lifeguard. We always found free sunbeds, and the grounds were quiet and well looked after. Staff made sure people followed the rules. It’s a great family holiday spot and a handy base for trips to Venice, Verona, Milan, amusement parks, wineries, and charming towns. The shop on site charged a markup, but it wasn’t outrageous, and there are supermarkets like Lidl nearby. The bungalow had no mosquito nets, though some guests brought their own, and no dishwasher. We stayed a week and would happily come back!

We had a fabulous time at the lake, and the pool was small but clean and fine. The camping itself was okay, but it wasn’t really our thing. It felt geared too much toward Dutch guests, while we wanted more of an authentic Italian atmosphere. Our accommodation also hadn’t been cleaned properly before we arrived, which wasn’t a welcoming start. We won’t be back, though it was an okay stay overall.

The restaurant food was great, and the shop ladies were nice. The site also has two pools, washing and drying machines, and new, excellent toilet and shower facilities. It’s spacious, with pleasant access to the beach on Lake Garda. The entrance staff were helpful and very nice. We had a great time, and the mobile home was good too, though it didn’t have any blankets.

Belvedere was just the right size for us, neither too small nor too big, and the mobile homes were really nice. We were families travelling together, and when we booked, the staff made sure our two homes faced each other. The staff were very nice too.
