Grand Hotel di Lecce

Friendly service, and breakfast was included and good. The place has an old-fashioned grandeur, and it was clean, with a good mattress. The room could do with some repairs and updating, though. There was a bit of tape trying to keep the shower head up, and the carpet was stained.

The room was spacious and clean, but I wouldn't call this a four-star hotel anymore. The bathroom needs work: the shower fittings were falling apart, the sink wouldn't drain properly, and the water kept switching from hot to cold and back during my morning shower. Breakfast was a big disappointment. The scrambled eggs looked and smelled like they'd been cooked the day before, and the specially made coffee was awful. The staff were nice enough, but came across like they didn't really care.

We found the staff especially welcoming. They were warm, professional, quick to help, and efficient throughout our stay. The room was small but thoughtfully laid out, with the essentials, and the bed was very comfortable for a good night's sleep. The location is very convenient for a short visit. Breakfast wasn't extravagant, but had enough choice for different tastes, was satisfactory, and was served promptly and in an organized way. There are minor things that could be improved, but we had a very enjoyable, memorable stay. I'd happily recommend the Grand Hotel Di Lecce to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-run place in a good location.

There were only six parking spaces, so reserve one ahead if you need it. The pool was nice, the location was good, and the staff were pleasant. Still, I wouldn't recommend the hotel. Our carpeted room had stains and smelled, the towels were rough, and the only iron for all the rooms didn't work. The AC was out for two nights during our stay. Breakfast had a lot of food, but it was mediocre, and the elevator was slow.
