We had a spacious, comfortable room with air conditioning and fast Wi-Fi, and Marco answered all our questions and requests promptly. The spot is central but very quiet, with bars and restaurants nearby. It’s a five-minute walk to the boat connection and 15 minutes to the train station. Definitely recommend it for a stay in Levanto and cinque terre.

The value wasn’t great. The bathroom had no towel hooks, and the fridge didn’t work properly. The person running the place wasn’t particularly friendly, if friendly at all, and friendliness matters in this kind of business. P.S. The owner's response was very poetic, which only reinforced what I’d said. I’d simply mentioned, as nicely as I could, that a few bathroom hooks would be useful. If he disliked me based on a "gut feeling," that just confirmed to me that he’s not suited to this work. Paying customers shouldn’t be treated with that attitude. I lowered my rating from three stars to one.

If you’re coming to Levanto by car, this is a lovely place to stay. The owners are sweet, and there’s private parking, which you definitely need here. The sea is three minutes away and the train station is a ten-minute walk.

Levanto feels more like a family and local seaside town, rather than one of the five Cinque Terre towns crowded with tourists. Rosa was as helpful and accommodating as a host could be. It’s a great starting point for exploring the area, and there’s a ferry from Levanto to Porto Venere if you want to see it without the crowds.
