LAntico Borgo

We've been to L'Antico Borgo four or five times now, and it was just as perfect on this weeklong September visit. Our spacious room was fresh and spotlessly clean, with a wonderful view over the olive-covered hillside to the sea. Carlo, Angela, Helen and Thalia were excellent hosts. Breakfast was beautiful and generous, and drinks and snacks could be requested all day until midnight. There were lots of lovely outdoor spots for breakfast, with a very extensive colleczione, and the deep pool and garden were fabulous. Looking forward to coming back.

We came as a family of seven and split between two rooms. The hosts were attentive and warm, the rooms bright and amazingly clean, and breakfast was fantastic, with views across the riviera.

The breakfast was lovely, with plenty to choose from, and the view from the hotel is beautiful if your room has one. It's up in the mountains above Levanto, in the tiny village of Dosso. We had 5 nice. A few things to know if you're staying here: the parking is in a small lot above the hotel, not beside it. From there it's about an 80-meter paved walk down to the hotel, followed by 10-20 steps. We arrived late after a long drive in the rain, and the path and stairs were very slippery. In the morning, you have to walk back uphill to the lot. Anyone with mobility issues or heavy bags should keep this in mind. We were a group of 10 in five rooms, arriving late in heavy rain. It would've been nice to have someone make tea, or at least find tea bags or a kettle in the room.

Such a lovely, peaceful place. I really want to come back sometime. 🤗🤎 There was some late-night activity and noise one night, but it didn't bother me. The houses are close together, though another tourist made it into an issue. I kept thinking, we're guests in this community, so who are we to dictate how people here should live? Show some respect!
