Hotel Villa Aurora

The views across Lake Como and the surrounding mountains were spectacular and made the setting feel special. My room was spotlessly clean and well equipped for a comfortable stay, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of fresh choices. Staff were friendly, efficient, attentive, and very helpful with questions or requests. The whole hotel was clean, well maintained, and easy to find. My stay at Hotel Villa Aurora in Lezzeno was outstanding. I’d gladly return and highly recommend it.

The town is small, with a couple of restaurants and bars nearby, and the ferry is a short walk, about 500 yards. The bus can be an issue: twice they were already full by the time they got to Lezzano. The hotel has an excellent taxi service, though. It’s a good spot for two or three nights. We loved the hotel. The room was beautiful and very clean, the staff were excellent, and the restaurant was good. There’s a terrace with sunbeds and some water activities by the lake.

Hotel Aurora turned out just as we’d hoped from the website and our first conversations with Reception. We chose it for a family celebration marking several birthdays and other notable events this year, and had nothing but praise for the facilities, management, and staff. Everyone was unfailingly cheerful and helpful. Jonathan (Hotel Manager) and Christina (Reception) were especially welcoming and accommodating with our needs and requests. We were genuinely sad to leave. We’d recommend the hotel without hesitation, and if we return to Lake Como, it’ll be our first choice.

The staff were the standout for us, friendly, knowledgeable, and excellent at their jobs. The food was great and highly recommended. It’s a beautiful, clean, welcoming place with an amazing location and view. We’ll definitely come back.
