The rooms are cozy, the service was perfectly acceptable, and the price seemed reasonable. It’s a pleasant, quiet place close to the city center and one of its main attractions, Castel Sant'Angelo.

We came back after a few years because our first stay had left such a good impression: attentive, friendly care and a fantastic breakfast. This time, though, we learned breakfast was at a bar instead of the B&B, something that hadn’t been clear when we booked. There were other letdowns too: the toilet was hard to flush, there was sand left in the shower from the day before, and the coffee cup was dirty. We also arrived late in the afternoon and had to wait in the street for the owner. That quickly erased the good memories from our first visit. I would have liked a clearer explanation and a more humble response to constructive criticism.

The breakfast was generous, with excellent homemade cakes prepared on site, and the owners were warm and easy to reach. The room was roomy and clean, with all the comforts, air conditioning, and a nicely finished bathroom with a whirlpool tub. The breakfast space also seemed suited to the COVID-19 restrictions.
