Romalive Hotel

I saw the poor reviews and wanted to share my experience. As a recent guest, I found nothing wrong with this hotel. My room was clean and comfortable, with shampoo and soap in the bathroom, a small balcony, and a beautiful window. The host was very friendly and marked sightseeing spots and transport options for us on a map.

We stayed for 6 nights and the room cleaning was good, but we had almost no hot water. Twice we had to shower in cold water. The woman at reception kept giving vague answers and saying it would be sorted, but the hot water never came. We asked for a partial refund; she agreed and gave us an email address. I’m not convinced she’ll actually refund us, so for now I’m giving 1 star. If we get our money back, I’ll change the review. Reservation name: S.A.

The room was great and the staff were polite, though the walls are thin. We also ran into an overbooking mistake, and there wasn’t a 24h front desk. Since we arrived at 1 am, we had to spend the night at another hotel. The staff fixed the issue the next day and said they would reimburse us. In general, the staff and stay were good.

The location is great, and the receptionist was helpful. But there was construction starting at 6 am, with banging and drilling, so we didn’t get a good night’s sleep. Room cleaning started at 7 am, with vacuuming, yelling, and talking in the hallways. It wasn’t relaxing. The toilets flushed poorly because the water pressure and flush were weak, so toilet paper got stuck. The sinks were too small and water dripped everywhere. They also charged extra for towels.
