Way too expensive for what you get. The apartment was damp and dated, and the rooms looked nothing like the photos. The place was dirty, with hair everywhere. A terrible experience.

Mr. Mario was always ready to help with whatever we needed and give advice about Linguaglossa and the mountains. We had a wonderful stay, and the location is perfectly placed as a base. Highly recommended.

The view of Etna from the bedroom is the kind that stays with you. We also loved the quiet, still-unspoiled nature around the house, and Mario's hospitality helped us find some real peace on holiday. It sits in Linguaglossa, one of Etna's charming villages, between the sea and the mountains, about twenty minutes from Taormina. The house itself is spacious, very clean and comfortable, and close to the village centre. It's a typical Sicilian home with a chic staircase, a living room and kitchen, a bathroom made from volcanic stone, and a lovely terrace. The price was excellent too. From bed, we watched the starry sky and the moon sometimes seeming to kiss the volcano's crater. Thank you, Mario, for such a wonderful stay in this fairytale house. We won't forget it. Mario, the owner, knows the area inside out and gave us invaluable tips for trips to Mount Etna and places to have dinner. He's an extremely brilliant person. The little house is lovely, spotlessly clean, and set in pleasant surroundings. Highly recommended! Claudio Palumbo
