The food was a real highlight: delicious pizza and pasta, plus an especially good breakfast. The young woman serving breakfast was particularly friendly and attentive, and the staff were all super welcoming. Our room, "Lona," was huge and clean, though its layout felt a little odd to me as an English guest. We stayed three nights. The scruffy front of the property doesn’t make a great first impression, but don’t let that put you off. Bring plenty of insect repellent, we got bitten.

The only problem for us was staying connected: the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and 4G was unreliable for phone calls. If you’re happy to disconnect, that won’t matter. We had a lovely time by the big pool, and the restaurant served amazing food at a reasonable price, a combination that’s hard to find in Puglia. The quiet, green property is well maintained and thoughtfully arranged. Our simple room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy thanks to the host’s instructions. Breakfast in the garden and pool area was a pleasure, with varied sweet and savory choices, fresh pastries, and fruit. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip to Puglia, and I couldn’t recommend it more.

The regional dishes were tasty. The accommodation itself is basic, in a generally pretty rural setting, with a large pool and an evening restaurant around it. Check whether the restaurant is open.
