There were a few positives: the location is excellent for visiting the area, the house is very spacious despite its poor condition, and the woman who helped us at check-in and check-out was kind and friendly despite all the issues. That was different from the agency woman we spoke to by phone. Special greetings to Angelo and his wife. The overall experience was a disappointment. Based on the price and photos, my friends and I expected a beautiful, well-kept Villa for a relaxing holiday in Puglia. Instead, after six hours of travel, there wasn’t even bottled water or toilet paper. The towels and sheets were dumped on the sofa rather than placed on the upstairs bed. We had mistakenly thought the POOL was for exclusive use, but it’s SHARED. A family of 6-7 people was swimming and having fun right in front of the entrance when we arrived. The advert does say "shared pool" at the bottom, but I think the photos and listing are misleading, so I want to make that clear. There was almost always someone at the shared pool, just 1 meter from the entrance and front patio, and the other Villa connects to this one. We woke several mornings to pool noise. There was no privacy. The house needs a makeover and the agency handled our "complaints" rudely. Many lights didn’t work, the fridge didn’t close properly and took 24 hours to cool, and there weren’t enough dishes, just 8-10 glasses for a house that sleeps 7. The sofa cover had holes, the outdoor chair "cushions" were pieces of foam rubber, the TV and air-conditioning remotes had no batteries, and the mosquito nets were destroyed. It showed a complete lack of attention to guests. The house was definitely dirty when we arrived: dusty despite our warning that one person in the group was allergic to mites, with cobwebs, old toothpaste on the sink, and bird droppings on the outdoor deckchairs and chairs. We sent photos and videos. The agency offered extra cleaning, but it was Saturday afternoon and they wouldn’t come until Monday. We chose to clean ourselves and declined. For what we paid, the value was terrible. We never expected a Villa or situation like this for that amount.
