Hotel Castello di Tavolara

The town is small, peaceful and scenic, with several restaurants and places to eat. There’s also a beach bus right outside the hotel that goes to many spots, and we visited lots of beaches nearby. We stayed seven days and loved every moment in this lovely part of Sardinia. The hotel was cozy and very clean, and the AC worked really well. We had plenty of good interactions with the staff, especially Harry, who made the stay even better. We had some long, great conversations, and his suggestions helped us during our visit. I absolutely recommend it if you want a quiet stay in a small Sardinian town, away from home.

We were hoping for a peaceful holiday, but the swing carousel directly opposite the hotel played loud music until midnight. It was absolutely awful. I wouldn’t come back.

The rooms were roomy and comfortable, with a rustic look, and everything worked as it should. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend it. The staff were so nice, always greeting us with a smile and ready to help. Breakfast was great too, especially the coffee.

For a good three-star hotel, it met expectations. The room was comfortable, and the staff were super nice. It’s very close to the port for Tavolara Island and to a small, lovely family beach. I had a bit of trouble with the air conditioning. Even on its lowest setting, it blows right onto the bed, so I didn’t feel it was healthy to leave on while sleeping. Then the room got hot, and the staff couldn’t do anything about it.
