Albergo Villa Marta

From the moment we arrived, Albergo Villa Marta felt peaceful. The property is beautiful, and the facilities are carefully looked after. The service was excellent throughout, especially Roberto, whose warmth, kindness, and professionalism made us feel at home from day one. He’s a real example of how to look after guests, and we wish we met more people like him on our travels.

The staff made this a splendid stay. They were attentive and always keen to help, and the restaurant team deserve special thanks for making the experience memorable with fine food and wine. I’ve just returned from seven nights at this beautiful villa hotel outside Lucca’s walled city. The grounds and location were lovely, and my room was comfortable. I can’t recommend Villa Marta highly enough, you won’t be disappointed.

The people are what made this long weekend unforgettable. Every staff member was warm and clearly cared about making our visit special. The restaurant team made us feel at home each evening, recommended lovely wines, and served delicious food with real care. Each morning Roberto greeted us with a huge smile and made sure we had what we needed. Breakfast was a treat, with homemade pastries, fruit, and fresh bread. My mum and I loved taking our coffee into the sunny garden among the flowers and birdsong. Our cosy, charming room had exposed wooden beams, and the whole place was spotless and comfortable. The hotel is in a beautiful, peaceful setting among olive groves and countryside, with mountains in the background. Lucca and Pisa are easy to reach. Thank you for such a wonderful stay at this hidden gem.

We only had one night here on our road trip and were sorry to leave so soon. Even arriving late on a rainy evening didn’t spoil a thing. The staff were professional and kind, and service at both dinner and breakfast was incredible. The meals were delicious. Our room was cozy, charming, and very clean, and the view from the window was amazing.
