The host was incredibly welcoming and shared useful local tips, making sure I had what I needed. The apartment had rustic decor that suited the building's history, along with the modern amenities for a comfortable visit. From my window, I could take in the Roman arena just steps away. At night it was beautifully lit, and I loved looking out at it. Lucca felt lively outside and serene at the Airbnb, a great combination for a getaway exploring Tuscany's history and scenery. It was an unforgettable stay.

The room and host were great, and it's a lovely place to stay. Breakfast comes as a 10 euro credit for a cafe that was just okay. Still, the room alone makes it worth staying.

We loved this B&B! Our room was pretty and cozy, with a balcony looking out over Piazza dell Anfiteatro (Lucca's main square). It made wandering around town so easy, with lots of nice shops and restaurants nearby. Check-in was impeccable. Luckily, we'd returned our rental car half an hour before arriving, since those narrow little streets can be tricky for foreigners to drive through. Thanks, Andrea!

We spent eight nights here, April 20-29, 2019, and couldn't have asked for a better stay. Our room was extremely comfortable, and Alex and the staff treated us so warmly without making things feel formal. We felt like part of the family. The B&B is centrally located, so all the sights inside the wall are easy to reach on foot. It was also nice to take a break from TV. We highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.

Breakfast had loads to choose from, and Livia was great about accommodating my girlfriend's gluten-free diet. She runs the B&B and was incredibly flexible, with good food and sightseeing recommendations. For food, she pointed us toward spots away from the usual track. Our clean, well-equipped bedroom was sweet, with French doors at the foot of the bed opening straight onto the piazza. Highly recommended.
