Casa La Enza in Lucca

On September 27th, I wandered through the narrow cobbled streets of Luca, Italy, and it felt like stepping into a storybook. The old city walls still stand around the town, and the past seems alive here rather than simply preserved. The place has such a mix of old and everyday life. Medieval buildings and centuries-old cathedrals sit alongside lively piazzas, where people linger over espresso and chat. I noticed faded shutters and flower boxes on the old stone buildings, while market vendors sold fresh produce and handmade treasures. Street musicians played cheerful tunes through all the bustle. Then you can duck into a trendy café full of locals on their lunch break. Luca manages to bring its history and its present together so naturally, with culture woven into the rhythm of daily life.
