We had a good stay, with no complaints. The room was nice, though a little dark, and be ready to climb stairs to reach it. Breakfast was good, and so was the woman looking after us. The location in the old town worked perfectly, within walking distance of all the sights. The train station was about a 20-minute walk, making trips to Pisa and elsewhere easy.

Our room had very high ceilings and tasteful paintings, and felt like an antique Roman sleeping chamber. The place has a special charm, and the owner is very friendly. Breakfast was very good, and the free parking was a real plus. Highly recommended.

It’s hard to beat the location in Lucca. This beautiful historic property is very old but well cared for, and has a lovely terrace. Having a garage to park in is unusual in Lucca and a real bonus. Our host was amazing, breakfast was great, and the restaurants they recommended were excellent.

The husband and wife who run this place are delightful and so hospitable. We felt right at home in the kitchen and at the dining table, and our beautiful room, with ceilings around 15 feet high, felt fit for nobles. It’s a convenient five-minute walk to the town center, though the fantastic shops along the way may slow you down. And the homemade apple cake was so delicious!

Breakfast on the beautiful terrace was exceptional at this charming B&B in the heart of Lucca. Michela was a helpful host, full of local tips about sights and restaurants, and she bakes the most delicious cakes. Grazie Mille Michela!
