Suite Accommodation

The complex includes Villa Volpi, Suite Accommodation, and Castello di Mammoli, where you can spend a few quiet days without expecting too much. It’s a beautiful location in the Lucca countryside, with sweeping hill views, just outside the city near the entrance to the Garfagnana. The elegant, well-maintained setting is only a short distance from Lucca, but you'll need a car to reach the main building from the other facilities. Only guests staying at Villa Volpi can use the bar, restaurant, and breakfast there. It's a four-star place, but the service doesn't match that rating. Still, the staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. The service felt more human than professional, which I sometimes prefer. Food and breakfast could use a lot of work, though they welcomed us outside their opening hours and always made sure we had something to eat. Pets are welcome, which is another plus for me. It's a four-star stay where you feel a bit at home, for people who aren't expecting luxury or refined service.

The rooms stayed cool even without air conditioning, and were well kept apart from a few dead insects here and there. It's a truly beautiful place, with absolute silence after 8 PM.

The room was nice and clean, though a little cold. The location is charming, but it can be awkward to find somewhere to eat.
