A nice place, and affordable too.

Matteo was quick and kind when we asked him to sort out some missing items. The owners are extremely kind, which is why I gave a passing rating, but there's quite a bit that needs work. The apartment lacked towels, a hairdryer, dish soap, hooks for bathrobes, toilet paper, a cable box and TV antenna. There was a freezer, but it didn't work. The cleanliness was adequate, though nothing special. There's no air conditioning, just a fan for air circulation. We were lucky to have cool weather and could leave the windows open. A single curtain can be raised or lowered, but it doesn't keep insects out like a mosquito net and roller shutter would. The garden gate creaks loudly, and people often open and close it when taking their dogs out. Our windows faced the back, which felt completely rural, and the location was nice. We heard only the church bell tower and passing trains. There are several excellent restaurants and a well-stocked market nearby. If you're bringing plenty of supplies from home and only staying a few days without expecting much, you might give it a try.

We spent a week in one of the apartments, probably the smallest one. It was missing basic cooking things: a pan for steak or sauce, a saucepan for tea or milk, and a coffee maker for a decent cup of coffee. When checkout came, we had to leave by 10:00, and the cleaning team knocked at 10:05. We would have expected the owner or management to be there and ask how the stay had gone, so we could tell them directly. We definitely won't be back!

Our car broke down, so we arrived about 25 minutes late and weren't able to check in. They told us to find another hotel, which we did. Now the owner is demanding that we pay the full price for two nights!
