We had such a lovely stay and would be glad to return. The owners were helpful and kind, and the owner's mother even sent me home with two plant cuttings for my garden. Our room opened onto the garden, with an outdoor spot where we could catch the cool air in the morning and evening. It was beautifully done with Lecce stone and local marble, simple but elegant, and very clean. Staying in this peaceful, plant-filled former convent felt like stepping into another time. We were there during the Festival of Lights. The property is close to the city center and well placed for Lecce and nearby towns.

The owners were the real standout, so welcoming and ready to help, even arranging a visit for us. The place itself is lovely too. The old little Masseria that belonged to their grandparents has a beautifully decorated exterior, and our room was just as nicely done, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is at a pastry shop only a three-minute walk away, and there’s a large free parking area right beside the house. A great central base for Salento.

Stefano welcomed us warmly and shared lots of ideas for places to see, good restaurants, and a few less obvious spots. The house is lovely, with a spacious, comfortable room and a lush garden. Its central position made it easy to explore Salento. We also got to try an Italian breakfast.

A tidy, well cared for place in a handy part of Maglie. The owners were friendly and helpful, suggesting some beautiful places to see around Salento and restaurants for dinner. Highly recommended, and we’ll be back.
