La Tinaia Country House

I felt completely at home and at peace at La Tinaia. Giovanni and Ilaria were gracious, accommodating hosts, and gave me a secure, peaceful place to unwind. They helped me fall in love with Sardinian culture. The food was great and their cooking fantastic. Nearby activities were spectacular, and I've never been to nicer, cleaner beaches. It's a great landing spot to get to know the island and its people and get your bearings. I have nothing but praise for La Tinaia. I hope the next guests have a wonderful stay. That should be easy here.

We spent a whole week at La Tinaia, and we're very grateful for it. The enchanting house sits among Malvasia vines and hills, and we enjoyed fruit and vegetables picked by our hosts, plus dinner at sunset with local wine. Giovanni and Ilaria are passionate people, fantastic cooks, and great hosts. They were welcoming and helpful, and made the week feel authentic. We'll definitely come back!

We couldn't get a dinner booking with Giovanni on our first night because he was full, but we managed to eat there the second night. It was a wonderful meal with nice local wines. Giovanni is friendly and a great chef, and the hospitality here is something special. It's a great place to stay in a rural setting. Good to see that they take COVID-19 infection prevention seriously.

We spent six nights in our little Sardinian paradise and didn't want to leave. Giovanni and Ilaria's hospitality made us feel at home. Dinner was freshly made with local food, our room was very clean and we slept like babies. I loved winding down with a book on the terrace, though the picturesque view or a cuddle with their three calm pets could easily distract you. Freshly baked cake at breakfast each morning was another highlight. Grazie mille, Giovanni and Ilaria!
