Cannaverde - Amalfi Coast Camp

Our tent had a wonderful view, and the whole place is small, with just 8 tents. Two have their own bathroom and toilet. It’s a simple stay, run by a young team that’s friendly and full of energy. There’s a short menu for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. We joined pizza night, when 10 different pizzas made with produce from their own biological garden are shared. The staff showed us Spiaggia di Salicerchie, a lovely little beach about a 20-minute walk away. They even offer lunch service there, which I’d recommend. Maiori is another 10 minutes down the road on foot.

I keep thinking about the blue of the Mediterranean from outside our tent. It’s hard to describe, and I miss Cannaverde every day. Alessandro welcomed me, my wife and our friend with a beer, and everyone working there was so friendly. We had a spot to park the car, and the tents were incredibly comfortable, with beds better than hotel beds. The view was unreal. We rented a motor boat in Maiori for a day for 150 euro and explored the grotto's. It was so perfect that it almost hurts to remember, and I know I’ll miss it until I get to visit again.

The people are what made my three nights at Cannaverde feel like home. Gigi, Mel, Ale and Rani were caring, helpful, friendly and full of information, and I left feeling they’d become friends. The tent was really comfortable, with a private terrace, table and hammock looking out over the Mediterranean. That view could belong in a 5 star hotel. The bus stops right outside every half hour for the other Amalfi Coast towns. You hear the ocean in front of you more than the road above. Sunsets were magical, and the night view was stunning. Bathrooms were spotless. Food was so good, plentiful and fairly priced, with a lot of care put into it. I’d have dinner there every night for a lovely evening. I can’t thank them enough. The views and the comfort were great too. One of my best stays, and I’d recommend it if you want a beautiful time on the Amalfi Coast.

We had a lovely, quiet break from the busy Amalfi Coast during our 4 nights at Cannaverde. The staff were so nice, and our clean tent came with its own terrace and a fantastic view. We’d recommend staying here 100%. Ps. the cats are reallyyyy sweet too!
