Hotel Augusta

The family running the hotel were super friendly and helpful, and both the location and rooms were amazing. Our room looked out at the castle and lake, which felt magical. There are some noise rules, and the lights go out after 11PM. That also made it a great place to properly relax at any hour. I recommend booking through their own website or contact info.

We’ve stayed at hotel Augusta eight times and will keep coming back. It’s super clean, the facilities are fabulous, the views are stunning, and the staff are friendly and efficient. After a four-year break because of covid and other things, we were delighted to find their son Ricardo now working in the family business. He’s a real asset to the team, so helpful and professional. Thanks again to everyone at hotel Augusta. We’ll definitely return x

The room was small but just right for our stay, with a balcony that was lovely to sit out on. From the balcony we could see the cable car. It didn’t cause any noise or bother us. The pool area was great too, and the hotel was immaculate. The location was good, and the family who run the place are really nice and helpful. They’re always busy, but nothing is a problem for them. The only little snag, which was easy to fix and isn’t a complaint, was the lack of a usable socket for a phone charger apart from the fridge socket. The only other one was too low behind the fixed table. We bought an extension cable at the supermarket so we could charge our phones. We’ll definitely go back next year, 100%. It’s a good recommendation for couples, families or solo travellers.

The room was large, with comfortable beds, and the views from the balcony are great. Breakfast was excellent and the pool lovely. The location is brilliant, and I’d definitely stay here again.
