The location and facilities were fantastic, and the pool was a nice extra. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Thanks to all the staff, especially Micole, for making my stay wonderful. I’d definitely recommend it.

We’d booked two years earlier for our wedding, with family and friends staying at different hotels. The rooms were clean, and we were welcomed with beer and water. Breakfast was basic, there was no kettle, and the shower kept changing between hot and cold, which felt unsafe for children. The day before the wedding, I brought my dad over to show him where he’d need to meet me. I explained that I was getting married there and asked if my bridesmaid could get changed there before we left. Nobody was staying overnight, and we’d only have been there for an hour at most, but the same person told us nobody from the hotel was allowed in. We had to rearrange the pickup and flowers to my parents’ hotel. They even put on wine and water for us, had a much nicer reception, and were right by the lake, so the photos were better. That same person also complained about children making noise at the pool, even though it was the quietest pool ever and nobody was talking. By halfway through the week, my six-year-old was whispering every time he walked through the foyer or went to breakfast. We stopped eating breakfast there by the end of the week and went into town instead.

A nice place to stay, with friendly staff. The pool was a bonus.

The owners knew their stuff and were friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we had a charming, enjoyable stay.
