The view from our window was spectacular, and the pool was just right for a relaxing day. The woman at reception was very helpful, and they lend out bikes for free so you can ride into town. A great hotel in Malcesine.

The gardens and pool were the best parts, and breakfast was another highlight. The hotel sits among beautiful olive gardens with lovely views over the less exciting southern part of Lake Garda. A mountain-view room may disappoint because of its size and lack of a balcony, rather than the view itself. It's two miles from the town center, so getting there can be difficult unless you're up for a 40-minute walk each way or brave enough to cycle.

The place was simple and fairly basic, but clean, and the hotel food was good. We had a great two-day stay and an amazing view over Lake Garda that I wouldn't trade for another place. It's an easy walk down to the water, though Malcesine is a bit far on foot. There are buses available.

There was plenty of private parking, and breakfast had a good selection. You can also get drinks from the bar. It's a lovely villa in its own grounds with good lake views. Highly recommended.

The pool was nice, and the breakfast was good. The room was okay, with an awesome view from the balcony. The location could be better, but the tourist bus stops one minute from the hotel. Some staff don't understand English.
