The outdoor pool in the olive tree garden was one of my favorite spots, a peaceful place to relax. Hotel Orchidea is in a quiet area with lovely views of the lake and surrounding mountains, and the staff were kind, welcoming, and ready to help or offer recommendations. It's also well placed for walks by the lake, the cable car to Monte Baldo, and the charming town of Malcesine. I had a fantastic stay and would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, scenic place to rest and explore.

We were looking for somewhere calm, so being a little outside the center of Malcesine suited us perfectly. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the stayover service was lovely, and our room was kept tidy. Breakfast had plenty of good options. We stayed five nights.

The rooms are nice, clean, and spacious, though I didn't see every room. The street is fairly quiet. I wouldn't say it's suitable for families with small children: there are no sidewalks, and walking outside the hotel could be dangerous. It's a winding road with a 30km limit that nobody seems to follow. The internet connection at the hotel is very poor, if there is one at all. Really irritating!

The owner is a nice, friendly person who was ready to help with anything. We also appreciated the good breakfast and the big, clean rooms. The hotel sits in a beautiful olive tree garden and is a very convenient base for exploring around Lake Garda.

Our room was large and clean, though it wasn't very modern. We felt welcome thanks to the very friendly staff. There was a nice lake view from our balcony, and the lake itself was just a few minutes' walk away.
