Villa Sogno

We’ve stayed at Villa Sogno six times now and will definitely return. Laura and Luigi are friendly, laid-back hosts. Laura is always available and very helpful, and Luigi looks after the pool and its surroundings each day. The garden is beautifully maintained. The apartments are spacious and very clean. We’ve tried three different ones, and each had enough kitchen basics for us, including a toaster, pots, pans, and dishes. There’s no oven and just two stovetop burners, which was fine for us. All three bathrooms were excellent, and each had a hairdryer. For us, the location is ideal. The lake is just across the road, with Villa Sogno sun loungers available there. You get a fantastic lake view, though the road right outside brings traffic noise. There are lovely villages nearby, and Malcesine is easy to reach on foot or by bike along the lake. Restaurants and a supermarket are only a few minutes’ walk away.

We had a wonderful time and will definitely return. The apartment was spectacular, clean and spacious, and handy for all kinds of services and activities. The owners were very kind. Bikes, the pool, and loungers by the lake were included.

From the outside, the place looked very nice, but the inside was another story. The apartment wasn't ready for four people and seemed set up for only two. There were lots of cobwebs, the shower smelled, and the sofa mattress really needs replacing.

We could bike into Malcesine easily, and Lake Garda was only 20 metres from the apartment. Laura and Luigi were wonderful hosts, very relaxed and welcoming, with that Bella Italia feeling. The only drawback was the traffic noise now and then, which is hard to control. Ciao, grazie, and see you next year! :-)
