Modena

Doina's breakfast is a highlight, especially her delightful homemade cakes. The staff are attentive without getting in your way, and the room's air conditioning worked perfectly and was barely audible at night. The hotel is as central as you could want while still being quiet. The only noise we heard was on Saturday night, from a fashion show in the harbour that wrapped up around 11. I'm not sure what more some people expect from a two-star hotel. This place is great.

We just got back after 9 nights at the lovely Modena. It's right in the heart of Malcesine, with the marina so close you can hop over to it. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. It's a simple hotel, but has all the comforts you need. We'd definitely stay again. Thanks, Modena Team!

This was the best value room of our trip, and the quick fix to our bedside light says a lot. We mentioned the burned-out bulb to the front desk on our way out, and it was fixed by the time we came back less than 15 minutes later. The room was clean and quiet despite being right in the town centre. The hotel is in the pedestrian centre, close to the ferry dock, which worked well for us arriving by ferry, and would be handy for cyclists too. Breakfast was good, with friendly service. Great value, highly recommend.

Really good value for the price and a great location. The rooms were very clean, and the cleaning staff work hard to keep everything spotless. Nights were quiet and I slept really well.
