The rooms were tidy, with comfortable beds, and I never had any issues. The air conditioning worked really well. I stayed for four days and three nights, and the staff were welcoming throughout. The breakfast had a huge range of options, and they made scrambled eggs for me when I asked. There’s also a fantastic pool, though I only saw it being used once. I especially liked the rooftop balcony terrace overlooking the lake, a lovely spot in the sun and at sunset. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

The pool was lovely and never too busy, with incredible views. The location is great, about 15 minutes from the town centre and near some lakeside restaurants and bars. Everyone on staff was friendly at all times, and they all spoke excellent English. Breakfast was delicious, with a good choice of pastries, cold meats and hot food.

The rooms are basic, but comfortable, very clean, and the air conditioning is great. There’s no restaurant, though tasty pool snacks are available from 10am to 4pm, including sandwiches, fries and pizza. Gigi's restaurant underneath the hotel is very good, and it’s a totally separate business. The views from the pool, sun terrace, breakfast room and front seating area are stunning, with the lake, mountains and beautiful bougainvillea all around. The pool was glorious, with different places to sit and shade when needed. It’s a wonderful family-run hotel, and the staff are lovely and super friendly. Breakfast was fabulous, with plenty of pastries and homemade cakes as well as the usual continental options. They also offer very good scrambled or fried eggs. We adored exploring Malcesine’s pretty medieval town and cobbled streets. The cable car up Mount Baldo is modern and quick, and the views at the top are magical. We highly recommend Hotel Antonella and will definitely be back one day! ❤️✨

The staff put customers first, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Breakfast is buffet style, with food freshly replenished throughout the two hours it’s served. It’s a great little hotel in a perfect spot for walking along the lake into town. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

We had a balcony room with a beautiful lake view. Massimo and the team were great, doing all they could for their guests, and the breakfast choices were lovely.
