Sara and Silvia manage these beautifully renovated rooms in authentic village houses with real grace. Breakfast is modest but enough, and the outlook is over the mountains rather than the coast. Being relatively close to the parking lot is a big plus. Reception is open until 13:00, with self check-in available later. If driving, park in Manarola’s lower lot, then walk 320m down from the gate and climb 45 stairs. Reception is on your left. Trail 531 starts right at the hotel, and takes about 1.5 hrs. to Riomaggiore. You can return by ship in 10 min., by train in 2 min., or walk the Via Dell'Amore in 20 min.

Sylvia and Sarah were outstanding, and breakfast was great. We arrived after closing, but they’d sent clear instructions with pictures for getting into our rooms. Everything was impeccable: the rooms were spotless, and there was water in the fridge. The B&B sits above the city at the top of Manarolla, so it’s quiet but still a quick walk to the center. One thing to keep in mind if you have mobility issues: the walk from the train station is up a steep hill, with steps to the rooms. It didn’t bother us, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. Loved everything about this cute B&B.

Sarah and Silvia made our three-night stay in mid April brilliant, going above and beyond throughout. Before we arrived, they answered questions on Whatsapp and shared detailed directions that made finding the apartment late at night simple. They also helped with supermarket and ATM advice, boat tours, and selling Cinque Terre train and hiking cards. Just fantastic service from both of them. Our unit was small but sufficient, very clean and tidy, and cleaned daily. They even did the dishes, which we hadn’t expected. The sleeper couch was good quality, and having two bathrooms with showers worked well for four people. We had two large, heavy suitcases and managed the 10 min. walk from the station fine. There are steps, mostly gradual and small, except for a short final flight. Ask about cash rates. The ATM is on the right as you come out of the station’s long underground tunnel. We’d love to come back.

We found a free space in the public parking, which was handy since it’s relatively close compared with other places, and then left the car there for our whole stay. The modern facilities and room were clean. I loved the stone hangers on the walls, the minimal furniture, and our sunny balcony, which was perfect for a yummy breakfast. Silvia was really friendly and nice. We hadn’t expected such a small bathroom, with no bidet. Washing your face without splashing water onto the floor was difficult. I think the other rooms may be different. Apart from that, everything was great.
